JAW Sports – Safety & Policy Summary

At JAW Sports, the safety, well-being and enjoyment of all participants is our highest priority. Our programs are designed to be engaging, inclusive and professionally delivered in school and OOSH environments.

Child Safety

All JAW Sports instructors hold a valid Working With Children Check (WWCC) and maintain professional conduct at all times. We are committed to creating a respectful and safe environment for all children participating in our activities.

Supervision

JAW Sports programs are designed for groups of up to 30 students per session. Larger groups may participate if centre educators assist with supervision and rotations.

Safety & Risk Management

All activities follow structured safety procedures including:

• Pre-activity safety briefings
• Clearly marked activity zones
• Equipment safety checks
• Active instructor supervision

Unsafe behaviour or misuse of equipment may result in temporary removal from the activity.

Weather Policy

In the event of wet or extreme weather, programs may be modified or moved indoors where possible. Many JAW Sports activities are adaptable for hall or indoor environments.

Equipment Care

All equipment is supplied and maintained by JAW Sports. Participants are expected to use equipment safely and follow instructor guidance at all times.

Photography

JAW Sports does not take photos or videos of participants unless requested by the centre and appropriate permissions are in place.

First Aid & Emergencies

Instructors carry a basic first aid kit and are trained to respond to minor injuries. Centre educators will be notified immediately if an incident occurs.

Bookings are confirmed through the JAW Sports scheduling system. Full booking terms, including cancellation policies, are provided at the time of booking.
